February 13 - March 24, 2017
Prediabetes is more common than you may realize – one in three adults has prediabetes and 90% don’t know it. At Berkeley, an estimated 28% of faculty and staff have prediabetes and this is a 29% increase over a two-year time period. Prediabetes is more than just a warning sign of type 2 diabetes; long-term damage may already be starting.
