With a referral from your UHS primary care clinician, UHS offers access to specialist physicians in several specialty services.

Specialty Clinics

  • Dermatology*
  • ENT – Ear, Nose & Throat (Otolaryngology) (referred off-campus) 
  • Gastroenterology - limited in-house access 
  • Ophthalmology (referred off-campus) 
  • Orthopedics – general, hand, & foot & ankle specialties
  • Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation
  • Podiatry
  • Repetitive Stress Clinic
  • Surgery (breast surgeon) 
  • Student health, Sports Medicine - This clinic is self-referral and designed for recreational athletes with athletic-related injuries who wish to access the expertise of a sports medicine physician for early assessment, diagnosis & treatment.

All other specialties are accessed via community providers through referrals. 

*Please note: the majority of dermatological services at UHS are administered through Primary Care, offering quicker access to clinicians.

Hours of Operation

Appointments

  • Referral is required from UHS clinician. For patients currently receiving care for chronic or acute conditions or if you are currently seeing a specialist (for example, post-surgery follow-up), you may be able to make an appointment directly once outside records are reviewed.

Fees

Moderate fees apply. Members of the Student Health Insurance Plan (SHIP) pay $25 co-pay for an office visit.
