Rapid HIV Antibody Testing

Testing is free and anonymous with results provided in 30 minutes.


The Sexual Health Education Program's Sexpert Education Clinic conducts free rapid HIV antibody testing for UC Berkeley students and community members. The testing method is a blood-based finger prick test.

When

  • Fridays from 12-3 pm in the Health Promotion Department on the 2nd floor of UHS during the academic year. Closed on holidays.

How to register

  • Space is limited and clients will be tested on a first-come, first-served drop-in basis. Appointments are available but not required - use this Google calendar to register. 

Other HIV testing options through UHS

  • Purchase an HIV home test from the Pharmacy.
  • Order a confidential self-directed HIV antibody test through eTang.
  • Schedule a medical appointment through eTang for an HIV test.
