Rapid HIV Antibody Testing

Testing is free and anonymous with results provided in 30 minutes.

The Sexual Health Education Program's Sexpert Education Clinic conducts rapid HIV antibody testing for Cal students and community members. Testing method is a blood-based finger prick test.

Testing takes place Fridays 12-3pm once a month in the Health Promotion unit, 2nd floor Tang Center; dates for the current semester are:

  • September 27
  • October 25
  • November 22

Space is limited and clients will be tested on a first-come, first served drop-in basis.

  • Purchase an HIV home test from the Pharmacy
  • Order a confidential self-directed HIV antibody test through eTang
