If you can't remember the day and time of your appointment, call (510) 642-2000 for most types of appointments or (510) 643-7177 if you know the appointment is with a specialist. |
Cancel an appointment |
Call (510) 643-7033, 24 hours a day, to cancel an appointment. You must cancel at least 24 hours in advance or you will be billed a Late Cancellation Fee or No Show Fee. If you scheduled an appointment online, you can also cancel it through eTang. |
Request a specific clinician |
You are automatically assigned a Primary Care Provider. You can request a specific clinician if you have someone in mind, or you can explain your need or problem when making an appointment. |
Crisis/emergency |
For life-threatening emergencies, call 911. When UHS is closed, check the resources provided on our Emergency and Crisis webpage or you may call our 24/7 Advice Nurse Line at (510) 643-7197 for referrals. Berkeley SHIP members who'd like to speak to a nurse when we are closed may contact the 24/7 Nurse Line at (800) 681-4065. |
Eligibility | All registered students are eligible to receive care at University Health Services, regardless of type of health insurance coverage. There are fees for Primary Care and Urgent Care visits, procedures, lab tests, x-rays, and medications if they are indicated. See Fees for Medical Care for more information. |
