Satellite Offices

During this time, many of our our satellite offices are closed. The ones that remain open are NOT providing drop-in or in-person appointments.

Students who are seeking support at closed offices or are needing help sooner than is possible at satellite locations should call CAPS at the Tang Center (510) 642-9494 to speak with a counselor. If you are needing help when CAPS is closed, please call the after-hours crisis line at (855) 817-5667

At times, it can be difficult for students to access counseling at the Tang center. In our effort to reach out to the campus, CAPS has expanded its presence on campus beyond the Tang Center.

We understand that connecting with students in other locations on campus serves to break down potential barriers to seeking support. Cultural issues and the stigma of counseling can be barriers. For other students, the Tang Center can feel too far, or too formal a setting. Some graduate students can feel uncomfortable running into the undergraduate students they teach. Making contact with a counselor at a satellite office can help demystify the services provided at CAPS and UHS.

Counselors are now available at the following locations, which serve various student populations, and through the Let's Talk program. Visit us at one of our offices below or call us at (510) 642-9494.
