We are recruiting! Apply to take part in a passionate group of students helping their communities "Be Well to Do Well". Here are the top three reasons why you should apply:
- Learning about the resources available at UHS. You can learn about so many different resources that are offered at UHS. A required class for all Health Workers shed light on which resources you could refer to your peers or even utilize for yourself! In class, guest speakers such as professors, Tang staff, and student leaders regularly drop by to share helpful tips.
- Developing professional skills. Last year, Health Workers helped thousands of students by conducting over 800 one-to-one peer health advising and referrals (including safer sex, first aid & self-care supplies). You can help your peers find the help that they need! In addition, you get to meet monthly with your community leaders to develop friendly and professional relationships.
- Volunteering at UHS events. You can volunteer at various UHS events such as Pet Hugs, and Flu Clinic, as well as host educational events in your residential community!
The application deadline is Thursday, March 23.
