Happy New Year! Sharing this spring’s health programs with your team

Be Well at Work – Faculty/Staff Health Programs are offering a vast array of workshops, classes, and programs this spring to prevent injuries and promote health improvement. Supervisors can print the promotional flyer to share or post it in a visible location;  printed 11x17 color copies can also be requested from kpatchell@berkeley.edu. This spring’s feature is a healthy lifestyle program on prediabetes prevention with optional, fasting blood sugar screening. One in three adults has prediabetes and 90% don’t know it. The number of Berkeley faculty and staff at risk for prediabetes is rising and Game On! Spring Training for Prediabetes Prevention is designed to reverse this trend. We have some exciting rewards for extra motivation, including an Oakland A’s package of tickets and a gift pack!
