Behavioral Health Support Space

The Behavioral Health Support Space is designed for students to give and receive support from peers who are experiencing a medical concern impacting their mental health or quality of life. This may include but is not limited to chronic health conditions, processing a recent diagnosis, chronic pain, or post-concussion support. This space is appropriate for students needing emotional support at any point in their experience living with a medical condition– from a recent diagnosis to those living with a condition long-term. While the primary objective of the space is for connection and mutual support, group discussions will also likely explore themes of supportive self-care, strategies for coping, and self-efficacy in academic and social contexts.
