This 2-part group is designed to support partners in committed relationships to expand their ability to communicate through conflict, identify and shift unhelpful patterns, and build mutual trust. Participants can expect to receive an introduction to couples therapy frameworks and guided support with hands-on practice. We recommend that couples/partners sign up for this group together.
Eligibility:
- This group is open to all UC Berkeley students and their partner(s). Non-student partner(s) of UC Berkeley students are welcome.
- Please note, this group is not appropriate for people experiencing intimate partner violence. PATH to Care offers confidential support to those experiencing relationship violence, sexual violence, stalking/harassment: care.berkeley.edu/
- To sign up for this group, please call (510) 642-9494, speak with a counselor directly, or register yourself. Group facilitators will reach out to you directly for a brief pre-group meeting.
