SHIP Referrals

No referrals needed to access medical and mental health care

Given the unique situation that continues to evolve around the coronavirus, effective March 16, 2020 students with SHIP (Student Health Insurance Plan) are no longer required to seek a referral from University Health Services before accessing care. The referral exception will remain in place until further notice.

Choosing an In-Network Health Provider

To receive the maximum SHIP benefits, visit an in-network provider. Use the Wellfleet provider search tool on the Berkeley SHIP mobile app or Wellfleet website to find in-network providers. For assistance, please contact Wellfleet Member Services at (833) 302-9785.
