The UHS nutrition team provides regularly scheduled free nutrition events on and around campus:

 Drop-In Nutrition Counseling

  • Meet with a registered dietitian over video or phone for general nutrition concerns. These 15-minute sessions are free and offered on a first come, first served basis. See the events calendar below for days and times. See the events calendar below for more details and how to join.

Request Outreach


Fall 2020: All nutrition outreach will be offered remotely. If you'd like to request a virtual presentation or other outreach for your group, club, or residence, please submit a request with this Google Form. Due to reduced staffing, we may not be able to accommodate all requests.

A Virtual CookAlong

September 15, 12-1pm

Join the Nutrition Team and make these 3 recipes: lentil stew, quick pickled onions, and Mediterranean salad.

If you would like to cook-along with us, view the recipe list and grocery list ahead of time. I recommend printing out the recipe list for this event. Hope to "see" you then!

The Food Pantry on UC Berkeley campus (basement level of MLK Student Union building) will be handing out “Bear Bags” with the main ingredients required for this cook-along event on Friday 9/11, Saturday 9/12, and Tuesday morning 9/15 until supplies run out.
