Bipolar Support Group

This is an 8-module, weekly group for individuals with bipolar disorder. Within an atmosphere of mutual support, there is a focus on education about the condition, including ways to maintain stability. Members must have a primary psychiatrist before coming to the group.

Keeping Your Balance Bipolar Workshop

This workshop is for students who have a diagnosis of bipolar disorder and want to focus on staying well and preventing relapse. The workshop will focus on monitoring symptoms, recognizing warning signs, understanding the impact of individual symptoms, and developing an action plan to prevent relapse into (hypo)mania and/ or depression. The workshop will be in two sessions, each 1.5 hours, and held 1 week apart. Students should plan to attend both sessions. Building a plan to stay healthy and continually move toward wellness is a very worthy endeavor. A plan puts you in control of your wellness, and gives you a clear picture of what you're working for everyday.

A wellness plan can also prepare you and your supporters for dealing with the more difficult moments that your condition may bring on.
