I’ve been dating this guy for two months now and things are going well but every time I bring up the subject of finally becoming “official”, he changes topics or looks so uncomfortable that I just end up saying never mind. I’m getting frustrated now but I don’t know what to say without sounding desperate/needy. How should I approach him about this?
You are not going to sound desperate or needy. You have a right to know what is going on between the two of you. You do make up the other half of the relationship. You should find out if you two are on the same page about being in a relationship or not because it doesn’t sound like he is ready. Hope this helps. Best of luck. –Jami
It is possible that this guy just got out of a long-term relationship and isn’t looking for anything serious. Because it is going so well, I think you should be patient for just a bit more. Some guys also shy away from the “label” of being official, so bear that in mind. –Emily
