Current log-on issues in eTang portal

Having issues logging into the eTang portal?

We are working diligently with campus on a permanent solution to the issue, but in the meantime following these steps allows most students to log on:

  1. Add a "+" sign in front of your CalNet ID name (for example if you are goldenbear123, enter +goldenbear123). 

    If you still can't log-on: 

  2. Clear your browser caches and cookies "from the beginning of time."

    If you still can't log-on: 

  3. Open an incognito or private browsing window and log-in there. 

    If you still cannot log-on:

  4. Navigate to: https://auth.berkeley.edu/cas/logout, and log-out (you should be completely logged out of bMail). Close your browser making sure you close all windows and tabs. Retry eTang login.

If you are still unable to log-on to the portal after following these steps please visit Student Technology Services for technical support.
