YOUR VISIT AT TANG:

1. On your first visit, you'll get a Gold Card when you arrive. (no more Gold Card! Click here for details)
2. Fill out paperwork at a clinic.
3. See clinician or counselor.
4. You may have follow-up instructions after your visit.
5. Pay at Cashier (see next step).

HOW MUCH DO I PAY?

All registered students pay a health fee each semester that provides some free services.

All students pay a small office visit fee for Primary Care and Urgent Care visits. At Tang, the only difference for students who have SHIP and those that don't is what they pay for services.

For students with SHIP (2011-12): Most other fees are covered at 90%. SHIP files the claim for you and you only pay the 10%. Pharmacy, Dental and Vision coverage works a bit differently. See more

For students without SHIP: Since Tang doesn't accept outside insurance, you pay for the full amount due and coordinate with your own insurance company on how/if you will get reimbursed.
