Application Procedures

In order to be considered for our internship, please complete the AAPI Online, which may be accessed at http://www.appic.org by clicking on "AAPI Online." Please note that our deadline for completed applications is Friday, November 6, 2009.

We require no supplemental documents beyond what is required in the AAPI (e.g., cover letter, transcripts, letters of recommendation). Please ensure that at least two of your letters of recommendation come from clinical supervisors and that all letters discuss both strengths, as well as, areas for growth.

After initial review, selected applicants will be contacted for a telephone interview in early December. Questions may be directed to the Coordinator of Training Programs at (510) 642-9336 or through e-mail at .

This internship site agrees to abide by APPIC Policy that no person at this training facility will solicit, accept or use any ranking-related information from any intern applicant prior to Uniform Notification Day.

According to University of California policies, this internship is considered a sensitive position and requires a background check prior to start date.
