Evaluation and brief counseling is provided to students, as well as
psychiatric evaluation upon referral. Counselors will provide referrals
in the community if students need more counseling or a type of counseling
that we do not provide.

| Psychiatric services and medication |
Students are referred to psychiatrists by counselors at CPS or
Mills counseling staff. Make appointment with a counselor at CPS
by calling (510) 642-9494.

| Crisis/emergency |
If you are in crisis and need urgent care, come to
CPS as above and inform the receptionist.You will be seen by the
next available counselor on duty. When Tang is closed, see Emergency
and Crisis or call After Hours Assistance at (510) 643-7197
for referrals. |
Cancel Appointments

Call (510) 642-9494 (CPS or Psychiatry)
or (510) 642-6074 (Social Services) 24 hours a day to cancel an
appointment. You must cancel at least 24 hours in advance. For
missed appointments or cancelations less than 24 hours in advance,
there will be a $20.00 fee. |
